Solasta Studio was born from one mum’s simple wish — to create the kind of space she wished existed for her own child.
When founder Sarah had her son, Xander, she noticed a gap in local opportunities for children to explore their creative side in a supportive, low-pressure environment. So in 2022, she created one — starting with just one drama class and around 10 students.
From there, things grew. In 2023, Solasta introduced dance, followed by singing in 2024. As the programs expanded, so did the vision — and in 2025, Solasta Performing Arts officially became Solasta Studio, reflecting its broader focus on confidence, creativity, and wellbeing.
Alongside its growing class offerings, Solasta also began hosting themed party experiences — playful, confidence-building celebrations designed to inspire imagination and make every child feel like the star of the show.
Now home to performing arts classes, term-based programs, and creative parties designed to build confidence from the inside out, Solasta Studio is a space where kids can be bold, silly, expressive, and entirely themselves — whether they’re on stage or just starting to find their voice.
What Our Families Say
“Being a part of Solasta has been one of the most incredible experiences for our daughters. From the very first class, we could see how much heart, passion, and purpose goes into every single session. The growth we’ve seen, not just in their performing abilities, but in their confidence, friendships, and self-expression, has been truly beautiful.
Sarah is the heart and soul of Solasta. Her dedication, creativity, and care for each student goes above and beyond anything we ever expected. She brings out the best in every child, celebrates their individuality, and creates a space where they feel supported, encouraged, and inspired. Her energy is infectious, her vision is powerful, and she pours so much love into everything she does.
Solasta isn’t just a performing arts group—it’s a community, a second home, and a place where magic truly happens. We are beyond grateful to be a part of it.”
- McManus Family
“Solasta offers a dance class culture that prioritises creativity, fun, and confidence. As a neurodivergent child, my daughter has felt fully included and accommodated in every class. She can express herself freely, learn new skills, and get great exercise in a positive, supportive environment. What I truly appreciate is that Solasta isn’t focused on competition or toxic 'dance mum' culture—it's all about growth, enjoyment, making every student feel valued and the joy of dance. My child’s confidence has soared, and she’s developed a true love for dance.”

“Solasta has filled the giant hole that had been missing in Narrabri in terms of options for our youth to participate in the Arts. Solasta provides not only dance, drama, and singing lessons for local kids from Preschool to High School, but also gives them a space to connect with other like-minded individuals in a safe environment. Solasta classes are always filled with a fun vibe and a very supportive atmosphere. We would without-a-doubt recommend Solasta to any family looking to sign their kids up to something extraordinary.”

“Solasta dance has been nothing but a positive experience for my daughter. My daughter has always been a quiet child with not a lot of confidence. Solasta has helped bring her out of her comfort zone.
Sarah’s incredible dedication and the wonderful work put in behind the scenes certainly shows. Her commitment to the students is truly inspiring, from the countless hours spent planning concerts to the thoughtful attention she gives to every costume. Sarah’s calm patience and strong communication with parents create a supportive and encouraging environment where every dancer can shine. It’s clear that she pours her heart into everything she does, and we are so grateful for the passion and care she brings to the studio.”
“I love Solasta dance school because Sarah is a really nice dance teacher. She is also fun and helps me to try my best and not give up. “
