Child Safety

At Solasta Studio, the safety and wellbeing of every child is at the heart of everything we do.
We’re committed to creating a space where students feel respected, supported, and free to express themselves. This policy outlines the steps we take to ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all children in our care.

Our Commitment

  • Solasta Studio is a child-safe organisation.

  • We prioritise inclusion, kindness, and respect in all classes and programs.

  • We actively listen to children and take their concerns seriously.

  • We are committed to upholding the Child Safe Standards and relevant legislation in New South Wales.

Staff Screening

  • All staff at Solasta Studio hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).

  • Facilitators and team members are trained in child safety and fully understand their legal and ethical responsibilities.

  • Clear professional boundaries are maintained at all times, and staff are expected to model respectful, appropriate behaviour.

Raising Concerns

  • Children are encouraged to speak up if something doesn’t feel right.

  • Families are welcome to raise any concerns or feedback — big or small.

  • Solasta Studio staff are aware of and comply with mandatory reporting obligations under NSW child protection laws. Any reasonable concerns regarding a child’s safety or wellbeing will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
