Child Safety
At Solasta Studio, the safety and wellbeing of every child is at the heart of everything we do.
We’re committed to creating a space where students feel respected, supported, and free to express themselves. This policy outlines the steps we take to ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all children in our care.
Our Commitment
Solasta Studio is a child-safe organisation.
We prioritise inclusion, kindness, and respect in all classes and programs.
We actively listen to children and take their concerns seriously.
We are committed to upholding the Child Safe Standards and relevant legislation in New South Wales.
Staff Screening
All staff at Solasta Studio hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Facilitators and team members are trained in child safety and fully understand their legal and ethical responsibilities.
Clear professional boundaries are maintained at all times, and staff are expected to model respectful, appropriate behaviour.
Raising Concerns
Children are encouraged to speak up if something doesn’t feel right.
Families are welcome to raise any concerns or feedback — big or small.
Solasta Studio staff are aware of and comply with mandatory reporting obligations under NSW child protection laws. Any reasonable concerns regarding a child’s safety or wellbeing will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
