All Solasta classes are held upstairs at Thrive Church, 75 Maitland Street, Narrabri. Next to the main entrance, there’s a little alcove — you should see our doors just inside. We’re up two flights of stairs (sorry! 😅) in a cosy, creative space designed to help kids feel safe, supported, and ready to shine.

Not at all. Solasta was created with kids like yours in mind. We focus on creating a supportive, pressure-free space where students can build confidence at their own pace. There’s no expectation to jump straight into the spotlight — just gentle encouragement and lots of time to settle in.

Solasta is a strict no-judgement zone — this is made clear from the very first class. While we love laughter and fun, there’s a big difference between laughing with someone and laughing at someone. Teasing, bullying, or unkindness of any kind is never accepted. Every student deserves to feel safe, supported, and celebrated just as they are.

Our performing arts classes and confidence programs run during the school term, with a consistent weekly timetable. Each class or program is grouped by school year, so students are learning alongside peers at a similar stage. We also run fun, creative holiday workshops throughout the year — keep an eye on our class pages for updates!

‘Solasta’ is a Scottish Gaelic word meaning luminous or shining. It perfectly captures what we aim to nurture in every student — their own unique spark. At Solasta, we help kids grow in confidence, creativity, and self-expression so they can truly shine, both on stage and beyond.

Yes, for our performing arts classes there are opportunities throughout the year for students to perform in a supportive, low-pressure environment. This includes our end-of-year showcase and occasional local events or eisteddfods. Performing is always encouraged, but never expected — we meet each child where they’re at and celebrate their progress along the way.

Yes, parents are always welcome to stay — especially in the early weeks while your child is settling in. That said, some students tend to focus better when they have a little space. We’ll always work with you to find what helps your child feel most comfortable and confident.
